Africa-Press – Eswatini. Nqaba Dlamini, the grandson of former Prime Minister Prince Sotja says as a family, they are struggling following the death of the Prince.

Speaking to press, Dlamini said no one was employed within his family adding that even though his grandfather left a huge piece of land, they didnt have resources to work on it.

As a result, Dlamini said the umphakatsi at Lushikishini was threatening to grab the land.

“We are struggling with nothing to eat, we thought maybe due to the previous status of my grandfather who was a Prime Minister, bakaNgwane would assist us with jobs, however, that is not happening. Instead, the uMphakatsi wants to grab our land that was left by my grandfather,” he said.

Reached for comments,Lushikishini Indvuna Bhekithemba Dlamini denied that they attempted to grab the land belonging to the Prince.

“I am not aware that as uMphakatsi we want to grab Sotja’s land. Who is grabbing Sotja’s land? Is it the Chief? Who exactly is grabbing the land? There’s is nothing like that, maybe it’s the neighbours who want to grab the land, but they can come to us as umphakatsi so we can resolve it,” said the Lushikishini Indvuna.
