Africa-Press – Eswatini. Government, through the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, is inviting students who have been accepted in tertiary institutions to apply for scholarships.
The Ministry announced the invitation yesterday through its social media platforms and stated that the applications would be opened from today. The deadline for the applications would be May 31, 2024. “The Ministry of Labour and Social Security announces that applications for Scholarships will be open from the 3rd of May 2024. Applications will be for the Eswatini and SADC region only (Excluding South Africa). Aspiring applicants may use the below link to apply. The deadline is on the 31st May 2024,” stated the Ministry.
Students are expected to apply using the website www.slas.gov.sz and the link should be used from today (May 3, 2024). According to the notice talking about the invitation, students who are supposed to apply for the scholarships are those that hold acceptance letters from various universities, colleges, or any other institutions that are sponsored by the Government of Eswatini, in the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.
The students have further been warned to ensure that they followed all the instructions given to them on their application forms online, before they could start applying online.
