Africa-Press – Eswatini. Mbabane Highlanders are back from their Pretoria mini-camp ahead of the 2022 MoMo Cup finals billed for tomorrow.

The capital city giants sneaked out of the country on Wednesday morning and returned on Thursday night through the Ngwenya Border Post.

The Black Bull played against their sister team Ally Tigers coached by Selaotse ‘Sly’ Mosala and won the match 4-2.

The team was under the guidance of physical trainer Maluka Masilonyane after head coach Dumisani ‘DU’ Makhanya was left behind due to work commitments. DR Congo international defender Aristo Tamuzi and striker Siboniso ‘Mane’ Lukhele also did not travel with the team due to injuries. The team will face Moneni Pirates in the inaugural MoMo Cup semi-finals slated for Somhlolo National Stadium tomorrow.

Mbabane Highlanders Chief Executive Officer, Clement Dlamini confirmed that the team had returned.

“All I can say is that the team is back.

“We’re looking forward to the MoMo Cup and nothing will stop us from lifting it. The boys are highly motivated and we’re expecting our managing director to be part of the finals,” he said. Meanwhile, winger Bonginkosi ‘Manyovu’ Dlamini and speedy forward Mfanufikile ‘Fash’ Ndzimandze are expected to make their debuts.
