Africa-Press – Eswatini. MBABANE Highlanders have not yet thrown in the towel over the services of former international player Bonginkhosi ‘Manyovu’ Dlamini.

The ‘Black Bull’ are working hard to ensure that he is registered with the team ahead of the deadline tomorrow as they are still in negotiations with Royal Leopard to secure the clearance of the player.

The player stopped training with the team ahead of their crucial MoMo Cup playoff clash against hub giants Manzini Wanderers billed for the Mavuso Sports Centre on Sunday.

Managing Director Ally Kgomongwe said their talks with Leopard were at an advanced stage.

“We are still in discussions with Leopard over the services of the player and we hope to finalise everything before the transfer deadline,” he said.

Meanwhile, Leopard Management Committee Chairman Meshack Ntshalintshali also confirmed their talks with Highlanders over the services of the ex-Hub Sundowns player.

“We are in constant contact with Mbabane Highlanders on this issue, and it looks like we will finally conclude the process,” he said.

However, efforts to get the player were futile as he did not answer his cell phone when tried last night. The former Sagrada Esperanca winger was unveiled last month during Mbabane Highlanders CAF Confederations Cup first round encounter against South African DSTV Premiership side Royal AM at Somhlolo National Stadium upon his return to the country after an eight-month stint with the Angolan side.
