Africa-Press – Eswatini. Bongnkosi IB Dlamini, the former Secretary General of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) says some of them still respect Government Spokesperson as a powerful comrade who is against Mswati’s oppressive regime.
Dlamini said Nxumalo once prayed for King Mswati to fall and eat grass like Nebuchadnezzar.
“Nxumalo is our comrade who is against the system,he is serving in that system due to the scarcity of jobs, otherwise he hates this system. He is the only one who in the 1990s during a meeting for progressives in Manzini, prayed for Mswati to fall and eat grass and we are eagerly waiting for Nxumalo’s prayer to be fulfilled,” said the former PUDEMO Secretary General.
The Government Spokesperson recently welcomed fellow political leaders in Namibia during the Southern African Development Community(SADC) Troika Extraordinary Summit.
A questionnaire was sent to Nxumalo,however, he had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
