Africa-Press – Eswatini. Reigning MTN Player of the year Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa has made it clear that he is taking his time in deciding what his next move is.

The goal-a-game striker said he just returned from international duty, therefore, his focus currently was on recouping, resting and spending quality time with family.

“I have not yet accepted any offer from teams, both locally and internationally.

I am at home and focusing on some personal matters.

This is not a decision one makes hastily so I am definitely taking my time,” he said.

Commence

With the season set to commence next month, the rumour mill went into overdrive with suggestions of where his future lies after his two-year contract with capital city giants Mbabane Highlanders elapsed, thereby making him a free agent.

When quizzed on teams that have formally tabled offers, the soft-spoken former Mbombela United star chose to play his cards close to his chest.

“I do not think it would be professional for me to share private negotiations with teams without finalising anything.

That’s just bad business, and I plead with the press not to spread rumours that could affect my career,” he said.

In a previous interview with our sister publication, the Eswatini Observer, Mbabane Highlanders boss Chief Ally Kgomongwe said the team was working hard to retain the burly forward.

“It is true that his contract with the team has elapsed, but we still need him in the team and will be doing whatever it takes to have him lead our attack this season,” he said.

The prolific forward has continued with his goal-scoring exploits even on international duty, which earned him the Hollywoodbets COSAFA Cup Golden Boot after he finished as the competition’s top goal scorer.
