Africa-Press – Eswatini. Thousands of football fans and players across the country are gearing up for high-stakes action as the INSTACASH 2025/2026 FA Cup, now being staged for the third consecutive year, was on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, officially unveiled at Sigwaca House.
The tournament, proudly sponsored by Joma, continues to establish itself as one of the most important platforms for grassroots football development in Eswatini. Instacash Chief Executive Officer Mandla “Cheeks” Nxumalo outlined the improved structure and new features of this year’s competition.
He announced that the tournament will include a Champion of Champions stage, starting at regional champion level to intensify early-round competition. “All teams will compete through a knockout system until we reach the final four. This ensures fairness and brings excitement from the very first matches,” he said.
He further highlighted the growth of the competition, which now features 56 leagues, 1 006 teams and thousands of registered players. “The expansion of this tournament shows the commitment and passion within our communities,” he added.
Joma’s sponsorship package for the two teams to reach the finals, valued at (E150 000) includes track suits, full soccer kits and match balls, these exclude the overall package of the money of the tournament. Nxumalo said the support enhances standards across all levels, stating, “Joma’s contribution ensures that finalists receive quality equipment that motivates players and improves performance.”
Regional Football Association leaders delivered their messages individually.Hhohho Chairperson Dr Comfort Shongwe said: “We appreciate Instacash’s commitment. Hhohho teams are ready, and we aim to bring the trophy home.”
Lubombo Vice Chairperson Luck Dlamini added “This support strengthens regional football. Lubombo is prepared and confident of a strong performance.” Shiselweni representative John Magubane noted “The tournament continues to uplift grassroots talent. Shiselweni will compete with determination.”
Manzini Chairperson was represented by Themba Mavuso who said “We thank Instacash for this investment. Manzini teams have come stronger this year having missed last years edition. They are focused and determined to fight for the title.”
Eswatini Football Association Chief Executive Officer Fredrick Mngomezulu also expressed appreciation. “We wish all participating teams success and thank Instacash for delivering a tournament that offers meaningful benefits to local football,” he said.
The confirmation of the third edition officially sets high expectations for a competitive and spirited season across all regions.
