INSTACASH PUMPS IN E350 000 FOR SCHOOL COMPETITIONS

Africa-Press – Eswatini. INSTACASH has once again shown its generosity by pumping in E350 000 toward the INSTACASH Schools Soccer Tournament.

The financial institution yesterday announced its partnership with the Eswatini Schools Sports Association (ESSA) at Sigwaca House.

Announcing the sponsorship, Managing Director (MD) Mandla ‘Cheeks’ Nxumalo said this was their biggest sponsorship since their financial support to local football.

Nxumalo said the 2024 edition of the sponsorship would be based on their financial performance as they were in the process of recruiting more Emaswati to open accounts with them.

“We have accepted ESSA’s proposal to sponsor a schools tournament. This will also be our opportunity to recruit more Emaswati to open INSTACASH accounts since schools are all over the country. We have been here for a short space of time, but already we feel like we have been operationg for a sometime now.

We want to engage more Emaswati to open accounts with us,” he said. He said ESSA would come up with rules for the tournament. Meanwhile, ESSA President Anthony Mdluli said they were grateful to be part of the initiative to develop schools sports, saying INSTACASH had accepted their proposal and promised to take their product to the people.

“We hope our marriage with INSTACASH will last for a long time. INSTACASH came at the right time when government had eased the COVID-19 restrictions, which include the return to sports as all our activities came to a standstill in early 2020. Mdluli further urged principals to allow pupils to participate in the tournament, and come up with new ways of playing and bringing in changes.
