Africa-Press – Eswatini. Italian tourists had many questions to ask about Eswatini’s relationship with South Africa during the course of Umhlanga at Mbangweni Royal Residence.
The tourists, who were in the country for the first time, asked if Eswatini was different from South Africa. They further asked if Eswatini had anything in common with South Africa about culture. They also wanted to know if marriage was allowed between emaSwati and the people of the Republic of South Africa. “Why is it that there are only girls at this event?” they asked.
They also asked if the attire was uniform or if anyone was allowed to have her attire. “Are we going to see the King?” they asked. After getting responses, the tourists said they thought there was no border between the two countries. They said they were of the view that a visa or passport was not required for people visiting the two countries.
