Africa-Press – Eswatini. Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, on Thursday addressed a congratulations message to his Serbian counterpart, Aleksandar Vučić, in the ambit of the European country’s National Day commemoration, marked on 15 February.
On the message, the Angolan statesman considers that the date represents the affirmation of the identity, sovereignty and the historical values of the Serbian people, whose determination and resillience “continue to inspire generations”.
“I have the honour to present the warmest congratulations to the Government and people of the Republic of Serbia, on behalf of the Executive of the Republic of Angola and on my own behalf”, reads the message.
The Head of State also reiterated the Angolan people’s interest in continually strengthening the co-operation relations between Angola and Serbia.
“Please, accept our best wishes of health, personal well-being and also prosperity or the Serbian people”, concluded the Angolan leader.
