Africa-Press – Eswatini. Judge Mzwandile Fakudze has ordered Mahamba Gorge and K9 Security company(PTY)LTD to restore the possession of cattle seized from evicted residents.

Gege residents who are being evicted from their land had their cattle siezed by K9 Security guards who were acting on instructions from the Directors of Mahamba Gorge who allegedly claimed the land was a farm, the residents were restricted from allowing their cattle to graze within the farm.

Judge Fakudze further ordered the owners of the alleged farm who are grabbing the land to pay the costs of the application,the order was issued on Tuesday.

“Dispensing with the manner of service and time limits presented in the Rules of this Honorable Court and having the matter heard as one of urgency.Directing both Respondents to restore possession of the cattle to Applicants.Costs of application,”reads the court order in part.

It has been disclosed that the cattle belonging to the residents were dying after being intentionally denied access to grazing land and water,the Judge ordered that the matter must be treated with the urgency it deserved.

The press has been reporting about the plight of the Gege residents who are being attacked and evicted from their land for almost three(3)months now.
