Africa-Press – Eswatini. Mathokoza Sikhondze, the Coordinator of the Eswatini Informal Traders has urged Commerce, Industry and Trade Minister Mancoba Khumalo to secure direct international markets for informal traders particularly imigcwembe producers.

The Coordinator applauded the Commerce Minister for touring the Informal Traders Trade Fair Stand but, appealed for more Government support for emaSwati in the informal trading sector.

“Imigcwembe producers are facing challenges, sometimes they sell along the road but when development projects come, they are evicted without any alternative place to continue selling their products. Furthermore, we appeal to the Minister to consider securing direct international markets for the handcraft industry including imigcwembe producers,” he said.
