Africa-Press – Eswatini. MANZINI Wanderers legend Clement ‘King Clay’ Mdluli has re-united with the club as assistant coach for the 2023/24 season.
Mdluli was unveiled by the club during their first day of preseason training on Tuesday.
He will work with veteran gaffer Nyanga ‘Crooks’ Hlophe who rejoined the club last season.
This will be Mdluli’s third stint with wanderers as he was once Hlophe’s assistant during his previous stint with Wanderers and also acted as interim coach.
The former Sihlangu striker possesses an Advanced Coaching Certificate and CAF Licence C. he will be with the team for the entire season as per agreement.
Wanderers Public Relations officer Mduduzi ‘Mr G’ Ginindza confirmed the news.
‘King Clay’ has been recommended to be part of the technical bench and it has been approved by management. He has already been introduced to the team and it’s not our first time working with him so we hope for the best from him and the head coach,” Ginindza said.
Mdluli once had a stint with National Milling Hotspurs and he was once part of the national Under -17 technical panel.
