Africa-Press – Eswatini. A number of Emaswati who where around Mbangweni Royal Residence got an early Christmas, as everyone took something home, courtesy of His Majesty King Mswati III.
They received jackets, footwear and food parcels.
Even the meat known as inkunzi was also shared with members of the public.
Some people arrived from different places such as Hlatikulu, Mhlosheni and Mathendele Township to receive the gifts from the King.
This was after learning that it was gift galore for everyone at the royal residence, and they were not turned back.
Security officers from the Royal Ewatini Police Service and His Majesty Correctional Services were able to control the queueleading to the distribution points.
After all the maidens had received their share, everyone around got the opportunity to take something home. Residents from around Mbangweni left their homes and rushed to the royal residence for the gifts.
“It was enough for everyone and others joined the lines more than two to three times,” said one of the recipients of the gifts.
