Africa-Press – Eswatini. As an absolute Monarch, Mswati must know that in the end, he will shoulder the blame as his mother-in-law Jabulile Mashwama messes-up the State owned water company, stealing millions from the pockets of the poor and vulnerable emaSwati.
Indeed, there’s absolutely no reason whatsoever, for the Eswatini Water Services Corporation(EWSC) under Mashwama’s administration to collect about two hundred Rands(R200.00) from each homestead even before the members of the families drink the water, this money when calculated with the number of registered Water Services customers, amounts to millions per-month.
Managing Director Jabulile Mashwama earns over two hundred thousand Rands(R200,000.00) per-month as a salary including allowances and access to free and clean water.
But despite these privileges, she wants the poor to suffer without access to clean and affordable water, this is the highest level of greediness
Water is a natural resource and we won’t allow royalty to steal from the pockets of the poor by providing expensive water because after all, part of this money ends up in the pockets of King Mswati either directly or through tenders awarded to royal linked companies.
What is happening in this country is very unfortunate, the Monarchy has become a political parasite, sucking blood from the bodies of the poor and vulnerable emaSwati.
Managing Director Jabulile Mashwama must remove the about R200.00 standard fee, it’s illegal to collect money without rendering services and this money is paid by each Water Services customer even before drinking the water.
Well, I may not be sure whether Jabulile Mashwama as a power-drunk woman, will remove the standard fee but the more emaSwati becomes frustrated amid scarcity of water and other basic commodities, they will end-up having no alternative but to overthrow the parasite Monarchy.
In Madagascar, the people toppled Andry Rajoelina’s regime for failing to provide affordable water and electricity, maybe Jabulile Mashwama wants the people to overthrow the Monarchy.
It is clear that in this country, we have corporate and royal corrupt parasites who survive by stealing from the pockets of the poor and vulnerable emaSwati.
