Africa-Press – Eswatini. King Mswati led Members of Parliament(MPs) and Senators in prayer when delivering his Speech from the Throne during the Official Opening of Parliament on Friday afternoon.
The King then ordered Government to increase elderly grants with immediate effect and, there was a huge round of applause while others shouted “Bayethe wena Waphakathi”.
On another note, Velaphi Mamba, a human rights defender, has been highlighting the need for an elderly grant increase in his Visionary Perspective Program hosted on this Swaziland News, Mamba said, in a new democratic Swaziland, senior citizens will receive not less than two thousand Rands(R2000.00) per-month as a grant.
