Africa-Press – Eswatini. HIS Majesty King Mswati III received 170 cattle and cash contributions from individuals and companies towards the success of the ongoing Incwala.

The gifts (Tetfulo) were presented to His Majesty the King at Ngabezweni Royal Residence yesterday. This happened during the ongoing Little Incwala, which was on Day Five yesterday. On top of the cattle, there are also monetary contributions from various companies.

It should be noted that such contributions are part of Eswatini culture, wherein support is shown towards ceremonies of such significance.

It does not only apply to Royal festivities, as it is practiced at even at chiefdom and family levels.

Emaswati continued to show support for the King and culture as they came in their numbers to pay homage to His Majesty during the ongoing cultural ceremony. Ncumbi Maziya, who was coordinating the activity told His Majesty that the contributions totalled E4.5 million, including the cattle, cash and the tetfulo that were in kind.

Soon after receiving tetfulo, His Majesty later joined Emabutfo in dancing the Little Incwala, where Emakhosikati, chiefs, prime minister, Cabinet ministers and the nation continued to enjoy the singing and dancing.

The numbers continue to rise each day despite the wet weather conditions. Imbali and Ingaja regiments continue to form part of the regiments as they attend in their numbers on a daily basis.

Meanwhile, Her Majesty the Indlovukazi continues to lead the dancing at Ludzidzini Royal Residence, which happens concurrently with the dancing at Ngabezweni Royal Residence, where His Majesty has moved to.

The numbers are still impressive at Ludzidzini Royal Residence even though some regiments have joined the King at Ngabezweni.
