Africa-Press – Eswatini. Local talented artist Lindo Ngcobo has announced his departure from Swazi Swag Records and he is set to release his Extended Play (EP) featuring King Jwase. It is also under King Jwase’s stable, where Lindo has sound his new home. In an interview with the Entertainment Desk, Lindo revealed that the EP is titled ‘Afro Child’ and will include more than five tracks. Lindo expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support he has received from the public. He mentioned being nominated twice for the Eswatini Arts and Music Association (SWAMA) awards, performing on the MTN Bushfire Firefly stage, and opening for South African artist Samthing Soweto. These achievements inspired him to create something special for his fans.
Inspired
The EP is inspired by Lindo’s personal experiences, and he assured music lovers that the tracks would be motivational. He believes in sharing music that can uplift people’s moods, heal and serve, as a means of communication. Lindo sees music as a universal language and hopes to touch many souls through his craft. When asked about his transition from Swazi Swag Records, owned by the award-winning producer Kangaroo, to working with King Jwase, Lindo praised Kangaroo and thanked him for helping bring his vision to life. He expressed his pleasure and honour in working with King Kanga, the Chief Executive Officer of Swazi Swag Records, describing him as humble and open-minded.
