Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Standard Bank Luju Food and Lifestyle Festival is growing by each year and is now uniting nations.

This was said by Standard Bank Eswatini Chief Executive (CE) Mvuselelo Fakudze on August 2, 2025 when addressing the media on the impact the event has had, since it was established in 2018.

Fakudze was asked about the impact it had internationally, since Standard Bank operated in other countries. In response, Fakudze said there were officials from countries such as Zambia, Mozambique, Lesotho, South Africa, who are here in the country to be part of the event. He further mentioned that members of the Standard Bank Group were here to be part of the event, to show that they also endorse the Luju Festival.

He said Luju has also been instrumental in the establishment of other events in the region, such as the Joy of Jazz Festival. Fakudze also mentioned that tourists and artists from other countries were part of the event.

The CEO thanked all those who made the event a success and stated that Standard Bank was only an enabler. He said the real gratitude had to be directed to those who worked on the ground to ensure success of the event.
