Africa-Press – Eswatini. Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga was absent from his expected chiefdom at Mbabane East constituency for the nomination process of the area’s Member of Parliament (MP).

The nomination process, which took place around various locations around the country, saw quite a number of local sporting personalities being nominated.

Many had expected the outgoing Mbabane East MP (Bulunga) to be part of the nominations that took place at Mbabane SAGM Primary Schol yesterday.

Mean while former Mbabane Swallows player Jabulani ‘Go Man Go’ Nxumalo was nominated for the MP position in Mbabane East.

Other sporting personalities who managed to get nominated yesterday include Mbabane Swallows attacker Felix Badenhorst, who was nominated for the MP position for the Siphofaneni constituency under the Madlenya chiefdom. FIFA accredited referee Thulani Sibandze was also nominated in the Siphofaneni constituency for buchopho.

Premier League of Eswatini executive member Victor Rodriguez was nominated for MP in Pigg’s Peak along side Pigg’s Peak Rangers co – director Vusi Mnisi. They will be competing with former MP Jabulani ‘Buy Cash’ Mabuza for the position.

Eswatini Football Association Vice President Mashumi Shongwe was nominated for the MP position under the Shiselweni II constituency. Eswatini Sports and Recreation Council (ESRC) Board Chairman Celucolo ‘Dino’ Dlamini was also nominated for the MP position under the Kukhanyeni constituency, while Eswatini Boxer’s Association (EBA) President Webster Lukhele was nominated for the MP position under Manzini North constituency.
