Africa-Press – Eswatini. Who is fooling who?. Royal Leopard and Mbabane Highlanders are caught in a tug of war over left-footed winger Bonginkhosi ‘Manyovu’ Dlamini.

The player was unveiled by the capital city giants on September 11 at Somhlolo National Stadium alongside ex-Green Mamba’s seasoned striker Musa Dlamini. However, Royal Leopard have maintained that they have not cleared any player to the capital city giants.

This was through its Chief Executive Officer, Frank Hurube on EBIS’ Sports Show programme yesterday morning. Hurube refuted the claims of clearing the Sihlangu Semnikati winger. “Who cleared him to whom?” he asked rhetorically.

The speedy winger was supposed to be cleared to the police side according to the agreement between Leopard and Sagrada Esperanga, the Angola-based side that he joined last season. Meanwhile, Highlanders Chief Executive Officer Clement Dlamini said the player belonged to them and further insisted that they were now in possession of his clearance.

“We now have all the papers for the player and he belongs to us,” he said. The player could not be drawn for comment at the time of compiling this report. Meanwhile, the player is expected to start his first training today at Ezulwini Sports Ground under the watchful eye of Dumisani ‘DU’ Makhanya.

Stint The capital city giants are said to have offered the former Hub Sundowns player E100 000 signing on fee. He joined the black and white outfit after his short stint with the Angolan top flight side.

Other new Highlanders players are Lesotho international Tshwarelo Bereng, DR Congo centre back, Aristo Tamuzi, South African striker Josef Lekata and former Moneni Pirates anchorman Mpendulo Tfomo. On another note, the player is said to have parted ways with his agent and the FIFA accredited Dingane Maduma. Maduma confirmed the news yesterday.
