Africa-Press – Eswatini. Street vendors here in the Manzini town are struggling as customers face financial challenges due to job loses, the negative impact of COVID-19 and the recent political unrest.
Triphena Maseko,a street vendor said even though the situation appeared to be normal,their businesses are still struggling.
“I’m poor and homeless, and the little money I get from selling my handcraft assists my grandchildren.My elder son is unemployed so, I am forced to pay my grandchildren’s school fees,” she said.
