Africa-Press – Eswatini. Mathangeni residents scrambled for milk that cost five Rands(R5.00) per-litre.
An Isuzu with a tank trailer full of milk arrived at Mathangeni on Friday, residents who were interviewed said the milk had a good taste and was cheaper for them.
“This milk is good and cheaper for us and we don’t understand why you are here, don’t expose these people who are helping us. Nani-exposer labantfu batawubese bayadvuba abaseti lana, sitawubese silutsatsaphi lolubisi ngoba nyalo ngu-January sishayekile?”said one of the residents.
But the driver of the vehicle transporting the milk threatened this journalist for questioning him as to why the milk was so cheap, he refused to respond when asked where it was sourced.
