Africa-Press – Eswatini. Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Senator Pholile Shakantu has safely arrived in Ethiopia to participate in the 48th Ordinary Session of the African Union Executive Council.
The high-level meeting brings together Foreign Ministers from across the continent in Addis Ababa to coordinate key continental policies and develop recommendations ahead of the upcoming 39th African Union Summit.
During the Executive Council session, ministers are expected to deliberate on Africa’s development priorities, regional cooperation, and shared strategies aimed at advancing peace, economic growth, and integration across the continent.
Eswatini’s participation highlights the country’s continued commitment to strengthening partnerships and contributing to collective African solutions. The outcomes of the Executive Council meeting will help shape the agenda and decisions of the Heads of State and Government when the AU Summit convenes later this week.
