Africa-Press – Eswatini. Montigny Investments has successfully completed the construction of footbridges in Mabhukwini and Madlabazi, enhancing access for local schoolchildren and community members.

The first footbridge, built near Mabhukwini Royal Kraal, provides a safe crossing to Mafutseni West Primary School, while the second was constructed in the Madlabazi area to improve mobility for residents.

Community members expressed their gratitude upon seeing the completed structures, noting the significant benefit to school age children who previously faced challenges crossing rivers and streams to attend classes.

Speaking on behalf of the Mabhukwini chiefdom, Bucopho Make Simelane applauded Montigny for the meaningful contribution, highlighting how the initiative strengthens the company’s ties with the local community.

Recently, Montigny also donated water pipes, roofing sheets, and vegetable seedlings worth E41 397 to three other community beneficiaries. Zombodze Emuva Constituency received E20 000 in water pipes, Nyakeni Royal Kraal was given E20 000 in roofing sheets, and the Dlozi Foundation received E997 worth of vegetable seedlings for community farming. Zombodze Emuva MP Ntando Mkhonta praised the company for supporting rural communities and promised to showcase the completed water project once finalised.

Such initiatives reflect Montigny’s ongoing effort to contribute to the well being of rural communities, providing practical support that addresses everyday needs while fostering long term relationships with residents.

Through projects like these, Montigny Investments continues to demonstrate its commitment to community development, improving everyday lives in rural areas and fostering strong partnerships with local residents.
