Motorists raise more concerns about Ngwane Park Total Garage after petrol attendant filled-up wrong fuel, damaged customer’s car

Africa-Press – Eswatini. Motorists have raised concerns on Itallo Dlamini’s Ngwane Park Total Garage after a petrol attendant filled up wrong fuel last week and subsequently damaged a car belonging to a South African national,Gugu Nkosi.

Itallo Dlamini, the owner of the garage later refused to take full responsibility by renting or providing an alternative car for the customer while the problem was being addressed.

Itallo Dlamini confirmed that he was aware of the issue but clarified that they were still engaging their insurance on the matter.

“We are aware of the matter but it is being handled by our insurance, they are conducting their own assessment,”said Dlamini, the owner of the Garage when interviewed by editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.

But Gugu Nkosi, the affected customer accused Dlamini of playing mind games adding that her car was taken to ‘bush mechanics’ for assessment.

“I have documentary evidence from VW about the condition of my car before they damaged it,”she said.

A motorist who contacted this publication after the story reached the public domain said he experienced the same problem at the garage.

“I once faced a similar problem there ,they then made excuses when I asked them to fix the problem,”said the customer.

On another note, customer Gugu Nkosi has confirmed that the matter has reached Total Group and they advised her to hire a lawyer who can formally write to them so they address it.

Efforts to reach Total Group proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.

Gugu Nkosi has been stranded in eSwatini for almost two weeks now after the Garage allegedly damaged her car and subsequently refused to take full responsibility.
