Africa-Press – Eswatini. Lilian Mosime,a South African national who was allegedly impregnated by Mhlume Member of Parliament(MP)Victor Malambe says she doubted that the MP can maintain roads for his Constituency while failing to maintain his biological child.
Reacting to a report suggesting that Vuvulane residents were complaining about poorly maintained roads,Mosime said MP Malambe has been failing to maintain his own child and therefore,he can’t be trusted with public duties including the maintenance of roads.
“I’ve been begging him in vain to maintain the child and I ended-up approaching his wife in 2016.The wife understood and tried to reason with him to take responsibility and maintain the child and that was when he started giving me one thousand Rands(R1000) per-month for only six(6)months,he then stopped.I met him here in South Africa,he was working in the mines,”she said.
A birth certificate and other documents seen by this publication suggest that the child was born on the 19th December 2007,his name cannot be revealed for ethical reasons.
When this journalist reached MP Malambe for a comment,he terminated the conversation immediately after this journalist introduced himself.
Residents of Vuvulane in the Lubombo region have been appealing to their MP to put pressure on Government to maintain roads within the area, they alleged that Malambe was last seen in the area in 2018 when campaigning.
