Africa-Press – Eswatini. Princess Sikhanyiso Dlamini, the Information Minister allegedly used fraudulent means to reduce her age.
According to documents sourced from the royal family, Princess Sikhanyiso, a first born daughter to King Mswati and Inkhosikati LaMbikiza allegedly changed her date of birth more than once, some of the documents suggest that Sikhanyiso is now two years younger than Prince Sicalo Nkopolo Dlamini.
The documentary evidence suggests that Princess Sikhanyiso allegedly misrepresented herself to various institutions claiming that she was born on 01 September 1989, other documents reveal that she was born on 01 September 1987.
On another note, Defense Principal Secretary Prince Sicalo Nkopolo, a son to King Mswati was allegedly born on 07 October 1987.
Questions were sent to Minister Princess Sikhanyiso where she was asked to explain why she fraudulently changed her date of birth, however, she had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
“Good day Minister Princess Sikhanyiso.We have some documents sourced from the royal family suggesting that you were born on 01 September 1989. Another document reflects that you were born on 01 September 1987. As a first born child to King Mswati, are you now younger than Prince Sicalo who was allegedly born on 07 October 1987? Why are you fraudulently changing your date of birth?” read a text message sent by this publication to the Princess.
It has been disclosed that Princess Sikhanyiso is a millionaire, some of her monies are kept at the First National Bank(FNB).
On or around the 17th September 2020, Princess Sikhanyiso was exposed by this publication after paying over R200,000.00 to a Nigerian national Ake Polycarp via his personal FNB account thus defrauding the Eswatini Revenue Authority(SRA) in taxes.
Polycarp was the Director of Galiyah International, a company that was contracted by Sikhanyiso to build her home, however, the payment was then diverted to Ake’s personal account.
It could not be ascertained as to why the Princess decided to change her date of birth in some of her documents.
Reached for comments, Pius Vilakati, the Spokesperson of the Communist Party of Swaziland(CPS) said there was a possibility that something very serious might have forced Sikhanyiso to reduce her age adding that fraud could be part of it.
“Sikhanyiso’s age is known and people have been following her, there is a possibility that something very serious could have forced her to reduce her age and fraud could be part of it. The times are hard for them now even though they are trying to keep a brave face. It could be that they are all preparing behind the scenes for the worst so that if something happens, they are able to start a new life in a different country”, said the Communist Party Spokesperson.
