Africa-Press – Eswatini. Professional golfer Nobuhle Dlamini continues to hoist the country’s flag high as she head for the Aramco Korea Championship that will see Sung Hyun Park, one of South Korea’s most celebrated golfers headlining the field.

Dlamini is already amongst the over 100 golfers who had entered for the tournament be played at the New Korea Country Club from May 9-11, 2025. The tournament is presented by PIF under the Ladies European Tour (LET).

The Aramco Korea Championship features a unique three-day format. The opening two rounds will see 26 teams of four professional’s battle it out for a $500,000 (About E9.2 million) team prize. The final round will crown the individual champion, who will walk away with the lion’s share of a $1.5 million (About E28 million) purse – one of the largest prize funds on the LET. The whole package of the tournament is a lucrative $2 million (About E37 million).

The Lobamba-born player based in South Africa is currently on break after the ending of the Sunshine Ladies Tour early this month but she will continue competing under the LET that has a number of tournaments line up all over the world.

Meanwhile, according to the ladieseuropeantour.com, the former world number one Sung Hyun Park will join a host of South Korean stars in the field, including World No.13 Hyo Joo Kim, who was announced last week and returns to defend her title following a three-stroke victory at last year’s tournament.

Park, known for her powerful game and fearless approach, brings a stellar resume to the event. With seven LPGA Tour victories to her name – including wins at the 2017 U.S. Women’s Open and 2018 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship – she remains one of the most influential figures in Korean golf.
