Africa-Press – Eswatini. Nsingizini Hotspurs assistant coach Tobias Ntuli swept the boards in the Eswatini Football Coaches awards.
Ntuli won two accolades in the Chairman’s award and the 2021/22 MTN National First Division Champions head coach award during the coaches day held at the EFA Technical Centre yesterday.
Ntuli guided Seven Dreams to their maiden Premier league promotion before joining Nsingizini Hotspurs about a month ago.
he further helped Vovovo to regain its premier league status two seasons ago.
EFCA Chairman Anthony Mdluli lauded Ntuli for helping two teams gain promotion within a short space of time.
“I selected the coach based on his performance. Tobias has helped two teams gain promotion in two consecutive seasons. This is a huge achievement for the association ,”
Meanwhile, Ntuli said the awards were a huge motivation and they will encourage him to continue working hard.
“It is always challenging to be a coach and these awards are a motivation and there are a lot of expectations going to the new season.
Ntuli vowed to match premier league standards in his new home Nsingizini and ensure the team remains in the elite league.
Others coaches who got awards include MTN Premier League Champions Royal Leopard head coach Edwin Matsebula and his technical bench.
MTN Premier League runner-up Mbabane Highlanders’ Selaotse ‘Sly’ Mosala also won an award after guiding the capital city giants to the CAF Confederation Cup.
