Africa-Press – Eswatini. Nonhlanhla Dlamini,the Executive Director of the Swaziland Action Group Against Abuse(SWAGAA)was among four from Eswatini who were honoured by Every Girl Wins Institute in the United States(US).
Other women include Bongekile Shiba Founder and Director of Techno Friends Eswatini,One Billion Rising Organisation and Yael Uzan Tidhar,the Director of Likusasa Letfu Youth Centre.
Presenting the awards was Eswatini representative,Marydee Isibuko Serenity Foundation Founder and President,Dudu Dube in an event that was held on Monday at Likusasa Letfu premises in Matsapha.
Reached for comments,One Billion Rising Africa Regional Coordinator Colani Hlatjwako said the award came at the time when as a campaign they were celebrating ten(10)years of existence.
“This confirms the impact that the organization has made in Eswatini.Our gratitude goes to the Every Girl Wins Institute for this award,”said the One Billion Rising Coordinator.
Speaking during the event SWAGAA Director Nonhlanhla Dlamini attributed the award to her team.
“This award goes to the team of SWAGAA and would also like to congratulate the team,”said the SWAGAA Director.
Dlamini further extended here gratitude to the International Every Girl wins Institute for the award.
