Africa-Press – Eswatini. Auditor General(AG) Timothy Matsebula to launch high level investigation, Funduzi Forensic Services among companies vying for tender.
Timothy Matsebula,the Auditor General(AG) will soon launch a high level forensic investigation amid allegations suggesting that, over R100million disappeared within the Royal Science and Technology Park(RSTP).
This comes after the press consistently exposed how over R100million public funds were looted allegedly, by the then Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Vumile Dlamini in a systematic collusion with suppliers,Dlamini was a subject of an high level investigation by the Anti-Corruption Commission(ACC) but the investigation was subsequently sabotaged.
“The Office of the Auditor General has allocated funds to procure consultancy services using a limited procurement method; to procure forensic audit services and assessment of the operations of Royal Science and Technology Park under the Ministrylg Information, Communications and Technology. It intends to apply the proceeds of these funds for eligible payments under the subsequent contract”,reads the tender document in part.
A questionnaire was sent to Auditor General, however, he had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
It has been disclosed that, Funduzi Forensic Services, the investigation company that exposed the multibillion looting within the Ministry of Health, is among the various companies vying for the tender.
