Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Kingdom of Eswatini received an uplifting visit when Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini welcomed Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams of the Republic of Ghana for a courtesy call at the Private and Cabinet Office.

Archbishop Duncan-Williams, who is in the country to attend the Women at the Well (WAW) Conference at Jesus Calls Worship Centre in Matsapha, praised Eswatini’s leadership for safeguarding the nation’s cherished cultural identity while navigating global pressures to adopt foreign ideologies. He expressed heartfelt wishes for the Kingdom’s continued resilience and prosperity.

The meeting also served as a platform to share insights on the African Union initiative, spearheaded by His Majesty King Mswati III, to establish a unified governance framework for traditional leaders across the continent. The upcoming Traditional Leaders Conference, set for next week, will mark a significant milestone in this historic undertaking.

Both leaders reflected on the central role of faith in Eswatini’s national life, with Archbishop Duncan-Williams commending the unifying national prayers led by Their Majesties. The encounter concluded with a moving prayer from the Archbishop, who blessed the leadership and people of Eswatini, reaffirming a message of hope and divine guidance for the future.
