Africa-Press – Eswatini. Businesswoman Busie Mayisela and well-known political analyst Dr Siphetfo Dlamini are expected to officially launch a new political party next week.
Eswatini is ruled by Mswati as an absolute Monarch, political parties are banned from participating in elections and as a result,various formations are fighting for democratic reforms.
Speaking to the press on Saturday, political activist Busie Mayisela confirmed that preparations were at an advanced stage,adding that the name would be revealed during the launch.
“Thank you for your interest in the new political player in Swazi politics.In order not to jinx the ‘new baby’, kindly allow us to refer to it as the new political party; the name and emblems will be revealed at the launch that is projected to around mid December 2022. The new political party embraces a Socialist Democrats ideology,” she said.
