Africa-Press – Eswatini. King Mswati’s son Prince Majaha allegedly received over two hundred thousand Rands (R200,000.00) as “tetfulo” from multibillion illegal gambling and extortion mastermind Reverend Senzo Hlatjwako.
It has been disclosed that, after receiving information suggesting that the police might apprehend him and the Chinese nationals, Hlatjwako allegedly tricked Prince Majaha by introducing the Chinese boss to him saying “he is an investor” without disclosing the whole alleged illegal gambling and extortion operation at Castle Hotel-Mbabane.
But sources told this publication that Hlatjwako wanted to use the Prince, Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini and Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Thulisile Dladla for protection in the event the police investigators attempt to arrest him.
“Prince Majaha was not even aware who the Chinese nationals were, Senzo introduced the Chinese boss to Majaha, the Prime Minister and I’m not sure if he eventually meet the Deputy Prime Minister. The PM, Majaha were not even aware that these Chinese were fraudsters, Senzo was trying to ensure that he secures maximum protection,” said source.
An effort was made to contact Prince Majaha on Wednesday afternoon, however, his cellphone rang unanswered.
When asked if the Prince will be able to stop the investigation against Hlatjwako, King Mswati’s Spokesperson Percy Simelane said Prince Majaha “is irrelevant to the police operation” and therefore cannot stop the ongoing investigation.
“ I don’t think so. Prince Majaha is irrelevant to police operations,” said the King’s Spokesperson.
Reverend Senzo Hlatjwako, the Board Chairman of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) and his “out-on-bail” wife are facing arrest for allegedly assisting over one thousand (1000) Chinese nationals to enter Eswatini illegally thus compromising State security.
