Africa-Press – Eswatini. King Mswati says his wish is to see all his daughters getting married but only God holds the power to ensure that, a wish becomes reality.
The King shared these emotional comments when commissioning Princess Sibahle’s Umtsimba(traditional wedding delegation) at Ludzidzini Palace on Thursday night, he said Sibahle “has opened the way for others to grant him his wish”, get married and be happy.
“It’s been a long time since we witnessed such beautiful traditional ceremony within the royal family and I thank God and the late Kings for remembering us. It’s my wish to see them in happy marriages but everything becomes a reality, according to God’s plan”, he said.
The King reminded Princess Sibahle that, respect remains the culture of the royal family hence “she must respect her husband” and all her in-laws.
“Once you get married, you must never think that you have an alternative of coming back here, you now belongs to your husband and in-laws. Your good behavior there will create a good name for the entire royal family,” said the King.
The Umtsimba tradition wedding ceremony is continuing at ka-Tembe in the neighboring Mozambique this weekend.
Princess Sibahle was accompanied by her brothers and senior members of the royal family that include Defense Principal Secretary(PS) Prince Sicalo, appointed MP Prince Lindani, Defense Chief Officer Prince Hlangabeza and Natural Resources Minister Prince Lonkhokhela among others.
