Africa-Press – Eswatini. A 36-year-old man has been arrested for the rape of a 15-year-old and further attempting to rape two minor children in Nginamadvolo.
he has been charged with indecent treatment of children.
Mduduzi Comfort Tsikati from Hlathikhulu, who is facing three counts of contravening the Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Act, is alleged to have given the survivor E5.
According to the charge sheet, Tsikati is said to have last week Wednesday, while at Nginamadvolo had unlawful sexual intercourse with the 15-year-old girl.
The sex pest is then said to have also tried the same with two minor children aged six and seven years. It is alleged that he also used the same method with the minors, giving them money to lure them and then sexually violated them.
Tsikati’s charge alleges that he exposed them to sexual violation and further attempted to rape them, although it could not be ascertained how he violated the two other girls.
However, the charge sheet shows that the accused person faces further two counts of indecent treatment of the children where he contravened section 36 (1) (a) of the Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Act.
He made a brief appearance before Magistrate Thembela Simelane where he was remanded in custody until January 26 this year, pending setting of the trail date before the principal magistrate.
