Royalty to Lobby Mps for Vote of no Confidence against PM

Africa-Press – Eswatini. Russell Mmiso Dlamini, the incompetent and arrogant Prime Minister, might soon face a Parliament vote of no confidence as a strategic way by King Mswati to remove him.

According to royal sources, King Mswati is deeply regretting appointing the PM and now, considering ‘diplomatic’ ways to remove him, he allegedly wants to be seen acting on the recommendations of Parliament, a Legislative Arm of Government.

Attorney General(AG) Sifiso ‘Mashampu’ Khumalo is highly expected to commence the lobbying of Members of Parliament(MPs) to oust the Prime Minister through a vote of no confidence, the Prime Minister is currently leading a divided Cabinet and more than half of the Cabinet Ministers might vote against him.

It has been disclosed that, the King made an example about former Public Works and Transport Minister Titus Mlangeni who was fired by Parliament through a vote of no confidence, Mlangeni was fired for allegedly using fraudulent means to sell a State Fokker 28 plane for over R7million.

Acting Government Spokesperson Thabile Mdluli declined to comment about the matter.

King Mswati’s Spokesperson Percy Simelane confirmed that, the King might remove a Prime Minister when advised to do so by Parliament and other relevant advisory bodies.

The King’s Spokesperson was responding to a specific question from this publication, seeking clarification on what the King normally consider when removing a PM.

“Our experience is that the King considers failure to deliver in the best interest of the country. However, his decision is informed by a host of advisory structures, including Parliament and the Supreme Council of State”, said the King’s Spokesperson.

It is alleged that, the King recently held a meeting with his trusted servants to discuss possible and diplomatic ways of removing the Prime Minister.

The King is alleged to have suggested that, “his final hope now is Parliament saying he can’t be seen removing the PM within three(3) years without an instrument as that will portray him as a person who did not apply his mind when appointing Russell Dlamini”.

Sifiso Khumalo who was allegedly part of the meeting that discussed the looming removal of the PM, is highly expected to lobby MPs to pass a vote of no confidence against the Prime Minister.

The PM stands accused of corruption in that, he allegedly facilitated the issuing of diplomatic passports to three(3) Zimbabwean fugitives and as exposed by this publication, he wanted to use those fugitives as his own Intelligence Unit, defying advise from National Commissioner Vusi Masango and State security experts.

Furthermore, the PM allegedly signed an agreement and further facilitated the deportation of dangerous criminals from the United States(US), without involving the Attorney General(AG) Sifiso Khumalo as the Principal Government Legal Advisor working closely with the King in providing advice on such agreements.

As if that was not enough, the Prime Minister had, on numerous occasions, undermined the authority of Parliament as the Legislative Arm of Government, he recently told MPs that he will demonstrate his arrogance saying “nitangibona-ke namuhla kutsi nginenkhani mine”.

This was during the debate of the ongoing health crisis after MPs expressed serious concerns regarding the delay in providing drugs in public hospitals.

The lobbying seeking to oust the Prime Minister is highly expected to intensify ahead of the official opening of Parliament next year, the AG and appointed MPs might lead the lobbying seeking to remove the Chairman of Cabinet.
