Africa-Press – Eswatini. Reporters Without Boarders(RSF), a France based international media freedom organization has selected editor Zweli Martin Dlamini again to be among international journalists who will participate in the compiling of the 2026 World Press Freedom Report.

The editor received an email from the international media organization on Monday informing him that he has been selected to participate in the compiling of the report.

“We have selected you for your expertise on the media situation in a specific country: Eswatini,” reads the email in part.

The France based media freedom organization has been, for the past four(4) years, selecting the editor to be among the international journalists participating in compiling the report.

The World Press Freedom Index does not only focus on persecution of journalists by Governments around the world but, even opposition parties, religious leaders and their followers among others.

But this time, the editor’s selection comes at the time when eSwatini journalists are facing challenging that include cyber bullying and physical assaults in their line of duty, the report is used by other global organizations to measure media freedom in various countries.
