Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Eswatini music community is preparing for a landmark release as musical powerhouse Sancheziey is set to drop the highly anticipated remix of his hit track, “Siyabonga Gogo.”

This is no ordinary collaboration; the remix gathers a sensational lineup, including the legendary Msani singer Lodanda, contemporary hip-hop sensation Young Zesh, and the sublime voices of the Limkokwing Choir. The artist promises this collaborative effort will be the “best collaboration the country has ever seen,” signaling a major highlight for Eswatini’s music industry as the year closes. The public can look forward to the release this Saturday, December 20, 2025.

The genesis of this ambitious project began with a simple yet profound question from Sancheziey: “Can a beautiful thing be made even more beautiful?” Following the rigorous recording sessions, the artist confirmed his answer is a definitive “Yes.”

The spark for the remix was ignited during the 2025 Limkokwing University graduation ceremony. Sancheziey was deeply moved by the performance of the university’s choir. “The choir made the song sound different in a very beautiful way. Having the idea that I can access the choir, I couldn’t rest,” he explained.

This initial inspiration quickly led to the inclusion of an icon. Sancheziey revealed that collaborating with the legendary Lodanda had long been a “pending dream.” He credited Lindelwa Mafa for facilitating the connection that made the collaboration possible. Securing Lodanda’s involvement is a major coup for the industry, as she had last been in a recording booth in 2015. “That on its own is everything to us,” Sancheziey noted, highlighting the significance of reintroducing her to the music scene. He believes Lodanda brings an essential “emotional touch on the song that will take every listener to moments with her grandmother.”

To ensure the remix reached its highest potential, Sancheziey enlisted one of the most commercially and critically successful young artists in the country, Young Zesh. “The brother is having serious musical runs in the country, and if the point of the remix was taking the song to higher grounds then he is definitely the target,” Sancheziey stated. He praised Young Zesh for adding “fashioned hip hop flows while in line with the beautiful of Lisiko lekucelwa.”

The recording session itself was conceptualized as a full cultural immersion, echoing the Salukazana brand’s dedication to celebrating Swati Culture. Held at the Arts and Culture studios in Manzini, the atmosphere was meticulously crafted. “The idea was to have a full cultural set at the recording session, and this is to echo how the Salukazana brand have been as far as embracing the beauty of Swati Culture,” Sancheziey explained.

The production was a collaborative effort involving two producers, Tus Mvuleni from Emadlelweni Music and SeanCast HQ. The team also included key individuals who played instrumental roles:

Mabhodweni not only ensured the cultural aesthetic but also contributed musically by playing Luveve on the track.

Ceceboy was crucial in guiding the choir’s vocals “into perfection.”

Cy Ndukwemnyama was instrumental in managing the collaboration with Lodanda.

Ulaka Lebhubezi came through with ad-libs that provided “Bujaha vibes on the song.”

To capture the gravity of the session, a visualiser was simultaneously shot by MegaSounds Records, with Ejal’dini Studios documenting the moments through photography. “Having a full visual team in studio was to ensure that we capture every moment of the session because it was one biggest highlight in my music life,” the artist concluded, expressing strong confidence in the investment.

The original “Siyabonga Gogo” track currently boasts over 65,000 views on YouTube, alongside his popular hit “Batawuvuma.” As the year draws to a close, Sancheziey is ready to raise the standard. “EmaSwati are eagerly waiting to listen to the remix and we would love to appreciate their support from day one, and we got this far because of them, with regard we ensure beautiful music even in 2026.”
