Africa-Press – Eswatini. SIHLANGU Semnikati’s hopes of reaching the 2023 Hollywoodbets COSAFA Cup knockout stages could be dealt a huge blow as striker Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa is doubtful for tomorrow’s clash against Namibia.
The Green Mamba striker missed the nation’s pride training session held at King Park Stadium together with Philani Mkhonto due to injuries.
Ndzinisa sustained a muscle-pull during Sihlangu’s 1-0 loss to Botswana at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Wednesday while Mkhonto is recovering from a recurring knee injury.
The two players reportedly underwent medical check-ups as they were both not part of the session conducted by assistant coach Anthony Mdluli.

Eswatini Football Association Manager Muzi Radebe could not be drawn for comment at the time of compiling this report concerning the latest update on the two players.
The duo is awaiting assessment today if they would be fit to face the Desert Warriors tomorrow at the King Zwelithini Stadium.
Meanwhile, the squad captain Lindo Mkhonta said they would regroup following the defeat at the hands of the ‘Zebras’. “We didn’t do well against Botswana. The opposition created the only chance which they converted due to our lapse in concentration. We have now put behind the loss and our focus is on the next match against Namibia,” he said.
Ndzinisa is the only last man standing in the annual showpiece, having featured in six editions from 2016.
The Ntjanini-born player won the golden boot last season in the region showpiece.
