The inspiration to start his own business came from a simple suggestion by a colleague. “One day, a fellow driver said to me, ‘Since you’re always behind the wheel, why not start your own car hire company?’” Nxumalo said. “That comment stayed with me.”

“There is no victory without war,” Nxumalo said. “I faced financial setbacks, client droughts, and moments of doubt, but I never lost sight of the vision.”That vision gave birth to Fenix Car Hire, named after the mythical phoenix,a bird that rises from its ashes. The symbolism is no accident. “Even when we face setbacks, we rise stronger,” he added.
Fenix Car Hire stands out for its strong focus on customer experience and safety. “Every customer is a priority,” Nxumalo emphasizes. This philosophy is reflected in services such as 24/7 support, customizable rental durations, and a rigorously maintained fleet.
