Africa-Press – Eswatini. SIMAV SHEQ Consultancy & Training is part of the SIMAV Holdings Limited family of businesses, trading in Eswatini, South Africa and other countries.
We have been in continuous business for twenty (20) years now. The negative media publications about SIMAV SHEQ have been noted and through the instruction of our legal team and the Board, we have been instructed to respond to these negativity which has in the recent days dominated about our business and the Director, Mr. Mavela Sigwane as follows:
1. SIMAV SHEQ is fully accredited to provide various trainings within the African Region, through a Global certification system, which we have been able to uphold and maintain to this date.
2. We have been certified on ISO 9001: 2015 Standards, which is a standard obtained through an intense process for the purposes of bring comfort to our clients on the services we provide.
3. Locally we are registered with Eswatini Higher Education Council (ESHEC), who regulates training institutions in the country.
4. Our services are enjoyed by over 45 client companies within the country, and over 33 in South Africa and other countries
5. Our compentence levels in training and Business Efficiency Management Systems development are evident from all our clients and individuals who have participated in ours trainings and consultancy division.
6. Our services are focusing on seventen (17) sectors of the economy, e.g Construction, Mining, Agriculture, Forestry, Manufacturing, Engineering, Textile, Logistics, etc.
The following parties have been on the public domain blackmiling SIMAV SHEQ and the Director Mr. Mavela Sigwane personally:
1. Montigny – Bought full page from local print media advertizing SIMAV SHEQ Logo and Mr. Mavela Sigwane\’s photo notifying the public that we are incompetent and that our services should not be utilized.
2. Maloma Colliery – Bought a full page from print media advertizing Mr. Mavela Sigwane protraing him as someone who is untrustworthy.
3. Letter to Editor on dated 25th March 2024 titled \”….Mavela Sigwane\’s SIMAV SHEQ asked us to pay R15 000 to secure jobs in new Mines…\”. This is not true, what our company is doing is providing trainings to all sectors of the economy, not that we are asking people to pay us money for securing jobs.
4. Word of month has made rounds on the corridors and streets that we are against the countries authorities, etc. This is not true, we are in full support to the Authorities of the country.
The following is our position on the above:
1. Legal Actions are being pursued against all those who have evidently blackmailed SIMAV SHEQ to pay for the damages caused to the integrity of the organization.
2. SIMAV SHEQ is a Black Swati owned entity and cannot tolerate the smear campaign, and we are warning those behind this to stop with immediate effect.
3. We are clear that such was anticipated when we continued to grow our business, hence it does not boarder us much, but it is a concern to most our clients.
4. We assure our current and future clients that these negative publications are not factual but pure lies and blackmail, for the reasons which we anticipated due to other assigments where we serve.
5. SIMAV SHEQ is in full operations and will continue delivering the various training & Consultancy Services to all our client accross the various sectors of the economy.
6. The fees for doing Mining Training is not R15000 but;
a) Mining Competent Person B Training- E8 500.00
b) Mining Competent Person A Training – E15 000
The Mining related courses are purely short causes aimed at equiping our fellow cirtizens who have an interest in the mining industry, building skills capacity across the country to ensure that the upcoming mining industry in the country source the various required skills locally than importing from outside the country.
The Board of Directors and Management would like to assure the public and our clients of quality services as we have always provident during the twenty (20) years of our existence. God made us for difficult matters and we believe thes e black mail was intended to bring us down, unfortunately the opposite is evident.
