Africa-Press – Eswatini. Apostle Siboniso Makhubu,the Chairperson of the newly formed Spiritual Commissioned Christian Movement(SCCM)has urged religious leaders to preach about democracy and human rights in churches.
Current affairs programme on Monday when interviewed by editor Zweli Martin Dlamini, Makhubu said as pro-democracy religious leaders they met at Nkomazi a few weeks ago and resolved to intensify the struggle using religion both spiritually and physically.
“For a long time,religion has been used to oppress the people and we want to break the silence.We urge religious leaders to preach about democracy and human rights in churches,”said the Apostle.
