Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Taiwanese medical team in Eswatini treated 623 Emaswati in an extraordinary medical outreach service this past Saturday (March 23, 2024) in Lomahasha.
Taiwan’s rural medical outreach initiative, conducted in partnership with the Technical Mission of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Eswatini, provided not only quality medical services but also educational and promotional opportunities.
The goal was to raise awareness about health issues and improve the quality of life in rural communities. By delivering public health information, the initiative also aimed to empower individuals to take charge of their health and make informed decisions. The effort demonstrated Taiwan’s commitment to promoting healthy living through effective and sustainable healthcare solutions.
Lomahasha Member of Parliament (MP) Zanele Mashaba personally visited each station of the free clinic to express her gratitude to the medical staff and volunteers who were providing their services. The atmosphere was one of excitement and gratitude, as the community came together to celebrate the launch of the outreach program.
The medical team announced that the next free medical outreach would take place on April 6 in Mangcongco, and encouraged people to come and take advantage of the services being offered. The team stressed that the outreach was an opportunity for members of the community to access high-quality healthcare at no cost.
