Africa-Press – Eswatini. The ‘Choose Eswatini Festive Season Campaign’ by Eswatini Tourism Authority (ETA) continues to expose some of the country’s hidden gems when it comes to hospitality and recreation.

The second leg of the campaign took a short left to the Manzini region, which boasts diverse facilities ranging from luxury to game lodges.

The tour comprising the media and tour operators explored various establishments within the city and beyond.

One of the hidden gems the team toured was Dombeya Game Reserve located outside Mafutseni and Luve.

The reserve is a stunning place to explore nature up-close and at one’s own pace.

It offers self-driven game drives, game walks where one gets to see a number of wild animals found in the reserve. The facility is also home to more than 200 bird species.

Dombeya also offers two luxury lodges being Mkhiweni and Shonalanga Lodge which are both self-caterings.

The lodges are nestled in the thick of the farm, which makes it a perfect hide-out to enjoy and interact with nature which brings about a refreshing environment.

While at the lodges, one also gets to witness wild animals as they graze during the night and in the early morning hours, which is also perfect time for bird viewing.

The team was also led to Khuselwa Farm Adventures, which offers a variety of recreational activities including quad bikes, swimming, paint ball and archery, among others.

The area that is located a few kilometres outside Manzini is also a perfect space for private parties and social gatherings.

The team was also right at the city centre at the Old Stone Museum, which is a hive of activity for theologians, students and history lovers in general.

The next stop was Ekupholeni Garden Villas in the periphery of Manzini, near Gumtree. The place offers luxury accommodation with 10 rooms, a restaurant and conferencing facilities. It is also widely used as an events venue such as garden weddings and a variety of social events.
