Africa-Press – Eswatini. HUB giants Manzini Wanderers have made changes in their technical bench after parting ways with coach Velekhaya Mthethwa.

The former Sihlangu Semnikati assistant coach has been relieved of his duties together with his assistant Terisayi Changara before the kick-off of the 2022/23 campaign.

The duo joined the maroon and white outfit last season where they replaced Nyanga ’Crooks’ Hlophe and Bongani Mhlongo.

Mthethwa and Changara led the ‘Weslians’ to sixth position during the recently-ended MTN Premier League campaign.

Wanderers’ long-serving Director Sandile ‘Chief’ Dlamini confirmed the latest developments yesterday.

“It is true that we have parted ways with our technical bench.

We would like to thank them for the services they offered to the club last season and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavours,” Dlamini said.

Meanwhile, Mthethwa could not be drawn for comment on the matter after his cellphone rang unanswered.

A text message was sent to Mthethwa before going for print.

Meanwhile, Changara said he was yet to learn of the developments.

However, the Zimbabwean mentor stated that he was out of contract with the team.

“I can’t say much other than thanking the team’s authorities for giving me a chance to be part of the technical bench in respect of their decision,” Changara said.

The crowd-pullers are set to announce their new technical bench ahead of next week’s Bible Society Cup which would feature Mbabane Highlanders, Moneni Pirates and Denver Sundowns at the Mavuso Sports Centre.
