Africa-Press – Eswatini. MANZINI Wanderers’ left-back Vukile Khumalo has reportedly gone AWOL (absent without official leave) from the team.
A source close to the matter revealed that player unceremoniously left the hub giants two weeks ago without informing both the technical bench and management committee about his disappearance.
The player joined the hub giants during the beginning of the current campaign from Mbabane Swallows and he has also played for a number of seasons for Mbabane Highlanders.
“No one knows about the whereabouts of the player. However, from what we gathered he won’t come back in the club until the situation is conducive,” said the source.
Absence
Wanderers Public Relations Officer Lucky ‘Majayivane’ Dlamini confirmed the absence of the player when reached for comment.
“Yes, he is not around at the moment. However, he is still our player. We will try to engage him,” he said.
Meanwhile, the crowd-pulling side are facing serious problems as they is currently occupying the bottom of the log standings with four points.
The Terisayi Changara-led men will lock horns with new kids on the block Nsingizini Hotpurs in their upcoming MTN Premier League match scheduled for the Mavuso Sports Centre on Saturday.
