Africa-Press – Eswatini. Glory-seeking Manzini Wanderers are said to be in advanced talks with two potential directors from South Africa.

This was confirmed by the club’s Management Committee (MC) Chairman Lucky ‘Majayivane’ Dlamini though he declined to get into the finer details of the matter.

“We are in talks with two individuals from South Africa as potential directors but I cannot reveal their names until we have concluded our talks,” he said. He was quick to assure that a press statement would be released as soon as the talks were finalised.

A source close to the matter, however, confided that Mpumalanga based businessman Cedric Mathatha was still their director but is allegedly sorting out some personal issues before focusing fully on the club.

Wanderers General Manager Mlungisi ‘Mluga’ Ndzinisa said he was not the right person to comment about this issue.

“Please contact the elders and directors of the team, I am not the right person to talk about this matter,” he stated.

The reports come at a time when Wanderers’ long-serving Director Sandile ‘Chief’ Dlamini had parted ways with the team after spending 20 years in the club’s administrative structures and further representing the Hub giants as the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) Board of Governors’ member.

He is expected to be replaced by the club’s Special Committee member Steven Thwala on November 20 once Dlamini officially vacates the executive seat.

Thwala will work with two other directors being Bheki Shongwe and Peter Mathaba.
