Africa-Press – Eswatini. In a bid to break the cycle of poverty and ensure every child has access to education, Youth Link Eswatini has launched an inspiring new initiative called the Seed of Hope Project.
The project, spearheaded by Youth Link Chairperson Siphamandla Dlamini, is designed to support vulnerable children in Eswatini aged 4 to 12 by covering school fees, uniforms, stationery, and other essential learning resources. The main beneficiaries are orphans and children from families where parents or guardians cannot afford the cost of education.
“Too many children in our communities are missing out on school simply because they lack these basic resources. Some are forced to drop out, while others never get the chance to start. Through the Seed of Hope Project, we want to ensure that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has the chance to learn, grow, and pursue their dreams,” said Dlamini.
The initiative highlights a harsh reality: thousands of children in Eswatini are being denied opportunities to learn due to financial hardships. By stepping in to bridge this gap, Youth Link Eswatini hopes to transform lives and open doors for the next generation.
Youth Link Eswatini is a youth-led non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young people through education, entrepreneurship, and community development. With the Seed of Hope Project, the organization is calling on compassionate individuals, corporate partners, and organizations to contribute towards changing the future of disadvantaged children.
“We believe that by working together, we can plant seeds of hope that grow into brighter futures,” Dlamini added.
Supporters who wish to get involved can reach out to Youth Link Eswatini via email at [email protected] or call +268 79967134.
The Seed of Hope Project is more than just an education program, it is a movement to ensure that every child in Eswatini has a fair chance at life, one classroom at a time.
